Black Rose is both the best and coolest gun store I've ever been to. They have a neat collection of unique guns in all shapes, sizes, and colors, which is worth going over just to check out. Aside from that, my experiences here have always been overwhelmingly positive. The guys who work here are attentive and knowledgeable, but never pushy. You won't ever feel like you're just being sold to. I've bought firearms and done FFL transfers with them, and it's always been a breeze. Being trans, I'm not exactly the typical gun owner, but I've never once felt uncomfortable at Black Rose, which isn't something I can say about all gun stores. That's not a big deal for most people, but for those of us who it is, that means a lot. If you're looking for a place with a unique collection and a great staff, I'd easily recommend Black Rose.

Nice selection and organized. Large selection of MP5 Style guns. 22 and 9mm. I called almost every gun store in Cincinnati area and Mason area looking for MAC 5 MP5 clone. Stopped in and they had 1 and at least 3 other vendors of same style. Paid $100 more than what others had if listed but none in stock so it was worth not getting it now and not having to wait or transfer it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very busy day after New Years 1/2/25 so they were busy. Got me in and out. I will be back!

Black Rose Firearms is my favorite gun store to go to. I am a little bit baby faced, and a test that I do when walking into a gun store is to shave and see how they treat you. Black Rose has always treated me very well. Consistently. John is very friendly, and the experience is generally very nice. The selection of Firearms is top quality as well. I tend to like the exotic and rare stuff. Some of the Firearms that I have seen in this little storefront straight up were worthy of being a headliner for Rock Island Auction Company. I've seen everything from the rarest version of the M47 Medusa revolver, to modern guns like the Laugo Alien or FK BRNO Field Pistol. They tend to also have a good selection of the coolest B&T guns. This is a great store. I highly recommend stopping in.

This place is one of a kind. Had answers to all my questions and provided excellent customer service. They didn't have the exact firearm I was looking for but called a competitor inthe area for me. I have recently purchased a great deal on a handgun for my wife because I couldn’t find a PCC anywhere in the region of Cincinnati. This place has a very good collections of PCCs that I was shocked to see in store. I regret not coming here sooner. This place have excellent customer service and friendly associates.

I stopped in to look at a knife that only Black Rose carries at least anywhere near me. I wanted to look at a Pro-Tech, I wasn't crazy specific on what I wanted, but I did have a couple I was hoping for. Sure enough I walked in after pressing the security button. I asked about Pro-Tech and the person working took me over to the counter and I spotted the one I wanted out of the 4 in stock. I was very pleased to see one I had been looking at online, but I so prefer to feel in my hand what I want. He handed me the knife, I felt the lightweight knife and opened it up and it felt perfect. I had watched some videos online about Pro-Tech and other models that I had looked at, but this was one I really liked. So I bought it. I am now the proud owner of a Pro-Tech Godfather Knife. This is April 2024 and the price was $224 which is very close to online web sites, but I prefer to buy local. If I remember correctly it is $220 online today when I looked at least for all black. I did look around and they have an amazing selection of guns as well. I will be back.

A different firearms experience you have to experience for yourself. The high class feel and finish to their firearms and smooth customer experience I have a hard time not making it my go to for future purchases! The wide variety is a very big plus you'll have to see for yourself

Great store, great people. Made a purchase from John today, excellent service. Went to Blackrose two days ago to look and found 2 I liked. Yesterday, I decided to drive to every gun store in Southwest Ohio to make sure I was making the right choice. I can tell you from experience that Blackrose has the best inventory by far, and I wasted a lot of gas trying to find better. The store always has a person in there, actually making a purchase, which should tell you all you need to know. I'm not a big gun guy, but I own them, and I can see where some people might feel intimidated by the buying experience. Do not hesitate to go in and talk to John. He's not a know it all and doesn't have a condescending tone whatsoever. That seems to be the most common complaint while shopping for a gun. In my opinion, that won't happen here. I'd recommend looking at Blackrose first if you're in the market for a gun, you'll probably end up back there anyway. A+ rating for sure.
