Based on requests from military and civilian customers alike, the Tavor 7 models are IWI’s solution for the 7.62×51 bullpup rifle request. The Tavor 7 carries on the reliability expected of all IWI products with increased ergonomic and functional features not seen on the SAR or X95. The short stroke adjustable gas system allows for easy suppression. The controls include the ability to lock the charging handle without the use of the bolt catch, maintains the M4 type ambidextrous magazine release system, and adds a much requested 45 degree ambidextrous safety. The Tavor 7 series is the modern compact “battle rifle” brought forward from its Cold War 7.62 NATO origins.”
